WARRANTY

ONLINE PURCHASE

For items purchased from our website, our warranty is for two years from the date of purchase. We will replace or repair your watch if the defect is covered by the warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects due to faulty material or workmanship only on the watch components itself (movement, case, bracelet or strap, hands and indexes) under normal condition of use. Other components or areas not included in the above will not be covered by this warranty.

For more information about the warranty, or to activate the warranty service, please send an email to customerservice@d1milano.com. Specify your full name, address, and order number references (if purchased through our website), and a detailed description of the problem.

Note that repair/replacements will not be processed under the warranty in the following cases:

  • Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (dents, crushing, broken glass, etc.)
  • Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or customization
  • Aesthetical changes that occur during normal wear and tear, or aging occurrences (minor scratches, color changes on the case or strap, peeling of the plating)
  • If no proof of purchase is available
  • Battery replacement

    STORE PURCHASE

    For items purchased in our stores or retailers, please send your request directly to the store where you made your purchase. Our warranty is for two years from the date of purchase. The retailer will replace or repair your watch if the defect is covered by the warranty.       WATCH SPECS

      POLYCARBON

      D1 Milano uses a high-quality plastic called Polycarbonate, which is very light but has a great deal of strength and durability. This material is used on the bracelet and the case.

      We applied a Soft Touch coating to give the material an unexpectedly soft feeling and incredible matte finishing. Other components of the watch - crown, back case, buckle are made of 316l Low Carbon Grade stainless steel with a brushed or sandblasted finishing. Hands and indexes are made of brass, with brushed or sandblasted finishing.

      The Polycarbon Collection uses a Japanese Quartz Movement with a two year battery life: Citizen Miyota 2036 or Seiko VJ21.

      TIME SETTING

      • Pull out the crown as shown in position 1
      • Rotate crown to set the correct time
      • Pull back the crown as shown in position 0

      D1 Milano Quarz movement

      WATER RESISTANCY - 5 ATM

      • Exposure to hot water is not recommended
      • Clean your watch using a soft cloth and water only
      • After contact with salt water, rinse the watch under tap water and wipe it dry using a soft cloth
      • Excessive or prolonged contact with water is extremely discouraged

      D1 Milano Water resistant

       

      ULTRA THIN

      D1 Milano uses a high-quality 316l Low Carbon Grade stainless steel. This material is used on the case, as well as the bracelet of the UTB series. The Ultra Thin collection also uses other more high-end materials such as Italian leathers.

      Other components of the watch - crown, back case, buckle – are also made of 316l Low Carbon Grade stainless steel with a brushed or sandblasted finishing. The hands and indexes are made of brass, with a brushed or sandblasted finishing.

      The Ultra Thin Collection uses a slim Japanese Quartz Movement with a two year battery life: Citizen Miyota 1l22.

      TIME SETTING

      • Pull out the crown as shown in position 1
      • Rotate crown to set the correct time
      • Pull back the crown as shown in position 0

      MECHANICAL

      D1 Milano uses a high-quality 316l Low Carbon Grade stainless steel for the Mechanical collection. This material is used on the case and also for the bracelets of the ATB and SKB series.

      The SKR series uses a natural rubber strap in a matte black finish. Other components of the watch - crown, back case, buckle - are also made of 316l Low Carbon Grade stainless steel with a brushed or sandblasted finishing. The hands and indexes are made of brass with a brushed or sandblasted finishing.

      The Mechanical Collection uses a Japanese Movement: the AT series uses a Seiko SII NH35 automatic movement; the SK series uses a Seiko SII NH70 automatic skeleton movement.

      BASIC FUNCTIONS

      SETTINGS - AUTOMATIC

      TIME

      • Unscrew the crown as shown in position 1
      • Slightly pull out the crown in position 2, and pull out further as shown in position 3
      • Rotate the crown to set the correct time

      DATE

      • Unscrew the crown until it reaches position 1
      • Pull out the crown to position 2 and then rotate to set the date

      CHARGE

      • Unscrew the crown as shown in position 1
      • Rotate the crown clockwise (maximum 40 times) to charge the watch
      To put back the crown in its original position, first simply push it back and while putting pressure, screw it.

      Automatic Movement

      SETTINGS - SKELETON

      TIME

      • Unscrew the crown as shown in position 1
      • Pull out the crown in position 2, and rotate the crown to set the correct time

      CHARGE

      • Unscrew the crown as shown in position 1
      • Rotate the crown clockwise (maximum 40 times) to charge the watch.
      In order to place the crown back in its original position, first push it back in until it’s aligned with the same slot, and add pressure to the crown while screwing it until tightened.

      D1 Milano Skeleton

      D1 Milano uses a high-quality 316l Low Carbon Grade stainless steel for the Cronografo collection. This material is used on the case and on the bracelet. Other components of the watch - crown, back case, buckle – are also made of 316l Low Carbon Grade stainless steel with a brushed or sandblasted finishing. The hands and indexes are made of brass, with a brushed or sandblasted finishing.

      The Cronografo Collection uses a Seiko VK63 Meca-Quartz with Fly- back Movement.

      COMMANDO

      Inspired by the world of military watches from World War II, the Commando is developed as a functional watch, characterized by astonishing resistance and mechanics.

      The collection presents a 38 mm diameter case along with a screw- down back case with an engraved plaque, and a sandwich dial featuring sandblasted hands and indexes finished with Old Radium Luminova. The straps are available in two variations; a nylon NATO or one composed of natural leather.

      The Commando Collection uses a Japanese Quartz Movement with two year battery life: Citizen Miyota 1L45. This model is characterised by a water resistance of 10 ATM.

      TIME SETTING

      • Pull out the crown as shown in position 1
      • Rotate crown to set the correct time
      • Pull back the crown as shown in position 0
      • At position 0, the second hand within the small sub-dial will begin to tick

      WATER RESISTANCY - 10 ATM

      • Suitable for recreational swimming, snorkeling, sailing and water sports.
      • Not suitable for diving
      • After contact with salt water, rinse the watch under tap water and wipe it dry using a soft cloth
